Boubacar Kamara reflected on a “bad result” at The City Ground, as Aston Villa fell to a 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening.
Villa led the encounter heading into the final five minutes of normal time, but succumbed to two late Forest goals to ensure they left Nottingham empty-handed.
The midfielder felt he and his teammates should have shown more control to see out the latter stages of the game, and admitted the defeat was a difficult one to take.

“It’s a bad result,” Kamara said.
“We had the game in our hands. We controlled the game most of the time.
“After we conceded one goal, we missed calm, I think. After the second goal, it’s difficult to come back against this team.”
After a run of three-straight victories was halted, Kamara called for calm ahead of the busy festive period.

He insisted a reaction from Forest and their supporters was to be expected after his side hit the front, but in order to progress from here, they must remain calm and retain focus.
The Frenchman added: “We need to keep the head [cool].
“It’s normal at 1-0 – the crowd push and the players push.
“In this moment, we need to keep calm, stay focused. Today is not our day.”
