Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Lewis Dobbin faced off against one another for their respective loan clubs on Saturday, as West Bromwich Albion drew 1-1 away at Preston North End.
Both players started the game at Deepdale, which saw the Baggies take the lead in the opening period through Karlan Ahearne-Grant, before Emil Riis Jakobsen equalised 10 minutes after the interval.
Dobbin was withdrawn after 68 minutes for the visiting side, while Kesler-Hayden completed the full 90 for North End.

In the Premier League, Àlex Moreno came off the bench for the final 13 minutes of Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win over Ipswich Town, while in League Two, Filip Marschall played 90 minutes in goal for Crewe Alexandra, who were held to a 1-1 draw on the road at Carlisle United.

Across Europe, Enzo Barrenechea started and played 84 minutes for Valencia as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Mallorca in La Liga on Saturday, while Samuel Iling-Jr was an unused substitute for Bologna, who won 3-0 in Serie A over Venezia.

Sunday saw another three on-loan Villans in action. Finley Munroe picked up an assist and 69 minutes in Real Unión’s 3-1 defeat to Lugo, setting up Sergio Benito’s opener 24 minutes in, in a game which also saw James Wright complete 90 minutes in goal for Txuri-beltz.
And overnight in Brazil, Philippe Coutinho started and played 70 minutes for Vasco da Gama, who drew 2-2 against Atlético Goianiense, while Leander Dendoncker was an unused substitute for Anderlecht in Sunday afternoon's goalless draw away at Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
