Young Lions held by Leeds

Aston Villa were forced to share the spoils with Leeds United on Friday night as their Premier League 2 encounter finished all square.

The Young Lions dominated the clash at the LNER Community Stadium but were grateful to substitute Charlie Lutz for his 79th-minute leveller to seal a 1-1 draw.

It was the least Villa deserved having threatened on numerous occasions, with the hosts taking the lead courtesy of Luca Thomas’ first-half penalty.
