Aston Villa and Chelsea finished honours even following a dramatic 2-2 draw at Villa Park.
Villa were in control of the encounter courtesy of Marc Cucurella’s early own goal and Morgan Rogers’ third goal in four Premier League games.
But the visitors hit back in the second half as Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher levelled matters, before substitute Axel Disasi’s injury-time header was ruled out following a VAR review for a foul in the build-up.
