Aston Villa booked their place in the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a convincing win against Coventry City at Villa Park.
Following a strong start, Rory Wilson curled home the opening goal after 31 minutes.
City responded immediately and levelled via Kain Ryan’s back post finish.
Wilson was on target again seven minutes into the second half to put his side in the ascendency before Aidan Borland made the game safe with number three on 71 minutes.
Villa will face Racing Club Warwick in the final as they bid to win the cup for the first time since 1985.

Villa beat Lye Town, Sutton Coldfield Town and Atherstone Town to reach the last four and they started brightly as they looked to bag a spot in the final.
A smart move after 11 minutes almost led to the opening goal, but Luke Bell did superbly to tip Kobei Moore’s effort wide of the post.
Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba was racing through on goal shortly after, setting himself before sending a shot over the crossbar.
Villa continued to be the aggressors as the first half wore on, finally breaking through when Wilson curled home from close range after a neat interchange between Jimoh-Aloba and Kadan Young.
Coventry, who’d been penned inside their own half for most of the match, responded immediately and levelled the scores when Ryan tapped home Elliot Betjemann’s cross.

Wilson and Todd Alcock sent efforts over the bar as the home side looked to reassert themselves at the start of the second half.
Lamare Bogarde, who replaced Sil Swinkels at the break, kickstarted the move that led to Villa’s second of the night, galloping forward before releasing Munroe with a through ball.
The left-back sent a low cross into the path of Wilson, who coolly dispatched a first-time finish into the bottom corner.
James Wright made a good save with his legs as City looked to swiftly equalise, but it was the hosts who built on their lead with just under 20 minutes left.
Borland pressed high and won the ball back on the edge of Coventry’s box before slotting a shot past Bell.
Aiden Dausch looked to pull his side back into the contest when he flicked an effort goalwards with ten minutes to play, only to find Wright flying across goal to tip it wide.
Wright denied Coventry's No9 again late on as Villa held out to secure their spot in the final.
