Supporters are advised there will be a heavily disrupted train service for Saturday’s fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion at Villa Park.

Villa host the Seagulls for a sold-out encounter in B6 as Unai Emery's side look to make it 10 successive home wins in the Premier League.

However, due to industrial action, there will be no rail services in operation on September 30 for the fixture.

More information can be found at West Midlands Railway or Transport for West Midlands.

For local travel information, TfWM offer how to get to advice for supporters travelling to the stadium.

Fans may also experience congestion travelling into Birmingham on the M6 southbound and travelling out of Birmingham on the A38M northbound to the M6 north. Additionally, there could be an impact on local roads approaching these junctions and on potential alternative routes.

Supporters are advised to plan ahead and allow more time for your journey as roads are expected to be busier than usual.
