Aston Villa supporters can now vote for their Player of the Month for October!

And what a month it was for Unai Emery's team, who navigated their five matches unbeaten, winning four and scoring 13 times.

John McGinn's injury-time winner saw off HŠK Zrinjski in the Europa Conference League at Villa Park to begin October, with the Scotsman rising to head home Matty Cash's cross for a 1-0 victory.

Aston Villa v West Ham United

A hard-fought 1-1 derby day draw against Wolves at Molineux saw Pau Torres provide the equaliser with his first goal for the club.

After the international break, Villa hit top form when West Ham United visited B6, putting four past the Hammers.

Douglas Luiz netted a brace and Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey also got in on the act to record a 4-1 triumph.

The scoreline was the same four days later when Villa took on AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, with Bailey, Watkins, McGinn and Youri Tielemans doing the damage.

Villa rounded off October with a 12th consecutive home win in the Premier League, sweeping Luton Town aside 3-1 on the back of goals from McGinn, Moussa Diaby and a Tom Lockyer own goal.

The vote will close at 9am on Thursday, November 2. Vote for your Player of the Month below…
