Ollie Watkins scored the only goal of the game as England saw off Australia 1-0 at Wembley on Friday night.
The Aston Villa striker connected with Jack Grealish’s strike to convert from close range in the 57th minute and hand the Three Lions victory in the international friendly.
It was Watkins’ third goal for his country in what was his eighth senior cap, with the frontman, who also hit a post in the first half, completing 73 minutes.
Watkins’ winner comes after he found the net on his last outing for England in March 2022.
Youri Tielemans and Boubacar Kamara are both celebrating after Belgium and France secured qualification for next summer’s European Championship.
Tielemans was introduced off the bench as a 64th-minute substitute as Belgium recorded a 3-2 win over Austria in Vienna.
Kamara was an unused sub as France claimed a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands in Amsterdam to also secure their place at Euro 2024.
