Ollie Watkins has been nominated for the Premier League’s September Player of the Month award.
The Aston Villa striker ended the month in style by grabbing the winner at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea before scoring a stunning hat-trick against Brighton and Hove Albion at Villa Park.
He also recorded an assist against Roberto De Zerbi’s side to end September with a goal involvement tally of five in just four games.
Watkins has been in outstanding form under Unai Emery, with 21 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions under the four-time UEFA Europa League winner.
