Aston Villa Women's five-match winless run came to a joyous end as they ran out 5-0 winners at Sheffield United.

A first-half hat-trick from Rachel Daly set the tone, while Ebony Salmon and Dan Turner also notched in Villa's opening Conti Cup tie of the season.

It was Villa's first success of the 2023/24 campaign and the hopes are that the good form carries over into the weekend and beyond.
