Rachel Daly scooped Aston Villa Women 2022/23 Supporters’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season at the club’s End of Season Awards Dinner.

After signing for the club last summer, the striker has been a revelation for Carla Ward’s team as the Villans secured a fifth-place finish in the Women’s Super League.

And the Lioness collected her awards during a fantastic ceremony in the iconic Holte Suite at Villa Park on Tuesday night.

Daly leads the Super League scoring charts with a game to play, having netted 21 goals.

Eight more goals in cup competitions have taken Daly’s tally to 29 during a stunning campaign.

Laura Blindkilde Brown was named Young Player of the Season.

The homegrown teenager has cemented herself as a trusted member of Carla Ward’s squad, racking up 28 appearances.

Still just 19-years-old, Brown has shown she has the qualities needed to compete week-in-week-out against the best players in the Women’s Super League.

The midfielder bagged her only goal of the season against AFC Fylde in an FA Cup tie, with the team going on to reach the semi-finals.

A long-range screamer from Jordan Nobbs was voted as Goal of the Season.

Against Brighton in February, the midfielder picked the ball up 30 yards from goal, set herself and unleashed a shot that flew into the top corner.

The strike capped a remarkable performance from Nobbs, completing her hat-trick in a 6-2 victory.

And the goal beat nine other contenders to win the award, which was voted for by supporters. Teammate Lucy Staniforth (pictured below) was on hand to collect the award on Jordan's behalf.
