Tyrone Mings has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for March.
The 30-year-old was a key part of Aston Villa’s unbeaten three-game run during the month, with the team conceding a solitary goal.
A 1-1 draw against West Ham United was sandwiched by clean sheets in wins against Crystal Palace (1-0) and Bournemouth (3-0).
Villa’s No5 is up against Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, Brighton’s Alexis MacAllister, Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard, and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah for the award.
The winner will be announced at 11am on Friday, March 31.
