Aston Villa will be without Philippe Coutinho and Leander Dendoncker for Saturday’s encounter against Crystal Palace.
Coutinho missed last weekend’s 2-0 victory at Everton due to injury and he remains sidelined for the clash against the Eagles.
Belgium international Dendoncker will also miss the fixture at Villa Park due to personal reasons.
Centre-back Diego Carlos continues his recovery but this weekend comes too soon for the Brazilian.
Jed Steer also remains on the sidelines, although Villa are boosted by the return of fellow goalkeeper and Sweden international Robin Olsen.
Head coach Unai Emery provided an injury update at Friday’s pre-match media conference.

“Jed Steer remains injured,” he said.
“Diego Carlos is training with us every day; some days he is resting, other days training and we’re trying to deal with him progressively in his adaptation. He is not ready tomorrow.
“Coutinho is out as well.
“Dendoncker, today, he didn’t train and he is not ready for tomorrow. His is personal circumstances.
“But all the other players, they are ready, they are training very well this week, they’re very happy.
“Of course, if we can take the same experiences we’ve worked with this week into tomorrow then we can be in good mood.”
