This weekend's visitors to Bescot Stadium are Tottenham Hotspur.
The North London club enter Saturday's encounter just one place and three points behind Villa, which should make for an intriguing battle in the search of points.
Rehanne Skinner’s side are without a league win since October and will be wanting a strong second half of the campaign having performed so well during the 2021/22 season.
They grabbed headlines at the start of the month when they secured the signature of Bethany England from Chelsea for a WSL record fee.
This weekend could also see returns to the West Midlands for two former Villans, Ramona Petzelberger and Asmita Ale.
The Last Meeting
The aforementioned Petzelberger scored an 86th-minutes winner to help Villa overcome Spurs the last time these two sides met.
The game looked destined to be a goalless draw following a largely scrappy affair, but the Germany international nodded home at the back post to cue scenes of jubilation at The Hive.
The result saw Villa move up to ninth in the WSL table on 20 points, five points more than they managed for the entirety of the 20/21 campaign.
Team News

Newcomers Nobbs and Staniforth are in line to make their respective debuts for Aston Villa.
Carla Ward confirmed during Friday's pre-match press conference that Emily Gielnik is also fully fit having shaken off her injury woes during the winter break.
Ward stated 16 players would be available for selection on Saturday afternoon but was tight-lipped on the names of those ready and raring to go.
"Isn’t there pressure every day in this job? That’s what we love about it. If you’re comfortable, you’re never going to improve and you’re never going to grow. I always want more, even when things are going well."
