Jordan Nobbs has vowed to help Aston Villa Women climb the Barclays WSL table, having signed for the club this week.
The England international joins the Villa from Arsenal on an 18-month contract, with an option to extend.
Nobbs adds serious pedigree to Villa’s ranks having won the Barclays WSL (x3), Vitality Women’s FA Cup (x4) and FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup (x5) in her time with the Gunners.
The 30-year-old midfielder has almost 70 international caps to her name and is excited by the prospect of lining up in claret & blue.

“As soon as I spoke to Carla [Ward] and saw the drive within this team, I wanted to be a part of that," said Nobbs.
"Since I was little I’ve always loved a challenge, as soon as I heard what they were looking to do I wanted to come and be a part of that.”
Having spent all of 12 years with Arsenal, Jordan made the difficult decision to leave the North London club in search of more playing time ahead of this summer's FIFA Women's World Cup.
But the importance of hitting the ground runnig is not lost on the box-to-box midfielder.
“Obviously I want to win games here, I’m a winner," said Nobbs defiantly.
"So I’ll be doing everything possible to help this team. I think this next chapter is about being the best possible Jordan Nobbs.”
