Aston Villa Women are into the last eight of the FA Cup after a dramatic penalty shoot-out win against West Ham United on Sunday.

Rachel Daly struck Villa’s goal as the match ended 1-1 after 90 minutes before the sides played out a goalless extra-time.

Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton then played her part during the spot kicks as she netted a sudden death penalty before watching opposite number Mackenzie Arnold blaze hers over the crossbar.
