Robin Olsen was named in Aston Villa’s starting line-up for their Premier League encounter against Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Sweden international goalkeeper made his first Premier League start for the Villans since New Year’s Day as Emi Martínez struggled to overcome a minor calf complaint.

Matty Cash returned to Villa’s XI - making his 100th appearance for the club - having stepped off the bench as a second-half substitute in Wednesday’s UEFA Europa Conference League play-off, as head coach Unai Emery made two changes from the 5-0 triumph at Hibernian.

Leon Bailey was named among the substitutes, alongside recent new arrival Nicolò Zaniolo who was included in Villa’s matchday squad for the first time.

There was also a place in the 20 for young goalkeeper Oliwier Zych, with Aaron Ramsey named on the bench for the Clarets following his switch to the Lancashire club earlier this week.
