Aston Villa Women announced the permanent signing of Kirsty Hanson from Manchester United on Friday.

The Scotland international re-joins the club on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year, following an impressive loan spell during the 2022/23 campaign.

The 25-year-old winger played 28 times in all competitions last season, scoring eight goals while also contributing nine league assists.
