The Young Lions play Crawley Town in their final group game of the competition as they look to pick up their first points of the tournament.
Villa are out of the running to qualify from Southern Group B after defeats against AFC Wimbledon and Portsmouth.
A strong Pompey side proved too much at Fratton Park last time out, winning 5-0 on the south coast.

This year’s competition has provided an opportunity for some of the club’s Academy prospects to experience playing against EFL sides for the first time, with youngsters like Triston Rowe and Ruben Shakpoke playing their part.
And the Young Lions will get another chance to show what they can do when they take on Crawley, who sit second bottom of League Two after 13 games.
Town can still qualify for the knockout stages if they beat Villa and Portsmouth lose to Wimbledon.
