Danny Ings says Aston Villa are motivated by the prospect of a top ten finish as they head into the final three games of the season.
The Premier League campaign comes to a close with home games against Crystal Palace and Burnley before a trip to Manchester City on the final day.
Ings believes Villa can take a step towards achieving their goals if they carry on their recent form against a Palace team they beat 2-1 back in November.

He said: “We’ve got three massive games coming up. We still have the chance to finish in the top ten, and I know that’s the drive and the motivation we all have.
“For us, we need to go into it with the same attitude as we did against Liverpool and get as many points as we can.”
The striker added: “Beating them (Palace) before gives you confidence, but every game is different - tactics can be different.
“It’s a game we have to go into with really clear minds and a game plan, knowing that we have to hurt them to win the game.”
Ings has scored twice in the last three games and saw an effort ruled out for offside in Tuesday’s narrow 2-1 loss against Liverpool.

The team’s forward play has been a major plus point in recent matches, and the 29-year-old feels Steven Gerrard is setting them up with a chance to win every game.
“Implementing the manager’s game plan will be key,” he said.
“We took Liverpool to the wire with a solid game plan, so whatever the plan is we have to implement it.
“If we do that, it gives us the best chance to get three points.”
