Rachel Corsie has been named as a nominee for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Player of the Month award for April!
Villa Women experienced a positive month which began with a 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur and ended with an impressive 0-0 draw at home to Manchester United.
Our no.44 joined the club from Kansas City Current in the January transfer window and has looked right at home in the centre of defence ever since.
Scotland captain Corsie has impressed with her assured performances at the back, but was even awarded with an assist for Ramona Petzelberger's winning goal against Spurs.
