Aston Villa recorded a third successive victory and clean sheet courtesy of an emphatic 3-0 triumph over Leeds United at Elland Road.

Steven Gerrard’s side put in a first-class performance to claim all three points in West Yorkshire and build on their wins over Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.

Philippe Coutinho’s fourth goal in seven appearances for the club handed Villa a half-time lead, before Matty Cash coolly drilled home his second goal in three games and Calum Chambers curled into the top corner to register his first in claret and blue.
