Olivia McLoughlin, Laura Blindkilde Brown and Freya Gregory have been named in England’s squad for the 2022 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.

The Aston Villa Women trio have all been selected in Gemma Davies' squad, which contains 20 players, for this summer's tournament, which begins on Monday.

McLoughlin has established herself in the first team picture at Villa over the past 18 months, making 23 appearances since the 2020/21 campaign.

The combative midfielder made a further 14 appearances during the 2021/22 season while learning from experienced players such as Remi Allen and Ruesha Littlejohn.

Blindkilde Brown will feature for the Young Lionesses following a breakout season in claret & blue.

Some standout showings for our WSL Academy warranted a step up to the first team, and Laura didn't disappoint as she made 15 appearances in all competitions.

The forward-thinking midfielder also scored her first senior goal during December's Conti Cup victory over Sunderland and bagged the club's Young Player of the Season award in the process.

Gregory, like McLoughlin, also broke into the first team at Villa during the 2020/21 season.

The left-sided attacker has made 16 appearances for the club and also gained some invaluable experience whilst on-loan at Leicester City during 2021/22.

Congratulations and good luck to Liv, Laura and Freya!
