Matty Cash netted his first international goal for Poland on Saturday evening.

The full-back travelled down the right-hand side before drilling an angled drive into the far corner of the goal to give his country a first half lead against the Netherlands.

And despite going 2-0 up through Piotr Zielinski, Poland were happy to settle for a 2-2 draw when Memphis Depay missed a stoppage time penalty after Davy Klaassen and Denzel Dumfries had pulled them level.

A point leaves Poland third in Nations League Group A4 ahead of a match against Belgium on Tuesday, June 14 (7:45pm).

John McGinn and Scotland endured a tough night when they took on Republic of Ireland in Dublin.

The midfielder played 59 minutes for his country as they went down to a 3-0 defeat, leaving them third in Group B1.

Scotland round off their fixtures in Armenia on Tuesday, June 14 (5pm).
