Tyreik Wright has sealed a loan move to Colchester United until the end of the season.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 forward spent the first half of 2021/22 on loan at League Two Salford City, making 18 appearances for the Ammies.
Wright, 20, returned to Villa in mid-January, appearing for the club’s Under-23s, and he has now linked up with Colchester.
He joins a U’s side who are currently 22nd in League Two.
