Trézéguet helped Egypt reach the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
The Pharoahs overcame Ivory Coast after extra-time, winning 5-4 on penalties.
Trézéguet started the match on the bench and came on after 71 minutes, with neither side able to break through during the 90 minutes or extra-time period.
In the shoot-out, Eric Bailly was the only man to miss, seeing his penalty saved by substitute ‘keeper Gabaski.
That left it to Egypt captain Mohamed Salah to net the winning spot kick and set up a quarter-final against Morocco on Sunday.
Congratulations, Trez!
