Aston Villa Women’s WSL Academy will be holding invitational trials for the 2022/23 season in February.
The programme has been running for two seasons and over a short space of time has been a success in developing players. Four players have either signed their first professional contracts or been a regular fixture within the first team squad in that time.
Most recently, we had five players make their senior debut in our FA Women's Continental League Cup defeat to Sheffield United, with several other members of our matchday squad being WSL Academy graduates.

This season, the Academy programme has continued to compete at the highest level both on and off the pitch.
A semi-final contest in the WSL Academy League Cup awaits, while several players continue to be accepted at top Universities - highlighting the importance of our dual careers pathway.

Trials will be held on Friday, February 25th and Saturday, February 26th. These will be invitational only.
