Mohamed Salah fired the visitors into a fifth-minute lead before Virgil van Dijk made it 2-0 before half-time.

Ollie Watkins pulled one back just before the hour mark but the Reds secured the three points when substitute Stefan Bajcetic netted with nine minutes remaining.
