With the Premier League currently in a break for the World Cup, took a look at their advice for the Unlimited Transfer Window...
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers have the opportunity to evaluate their teams while the 2022 World Cup is being played in Qatar.
The Unlimited Transfer Window is now open until Gameweek 17’s Boxing Day deadline, which means managers can make as many changes as they want to their squads and it won’t cost any points. The window acts in the same way as when managers play the Wildcard chip.
In addition, the Premier League has also paused all price changes to ensure players will remain the same throughout the World Cup.
Here’s a look at some of the Aston Villa assets you could invest in…

Attacking options
Danny Ings (£6.6m) has returned two double-digit hauls to owners during his last three starts, consisting of four goals and six bonus points.
Many FPL managers will be hoping to see Ings and Ollie Watkins (£7.1m) paired alongside each other in attack, and both currently sit on 46 points for the season, putting them joint-10th among FPL forwards.
Midfielder Leon Bailey (£4.5m) is Villa’s highest scoring outfield player. The budget-friendly asset has registered 48 points and currently ranks as the team’s best for points per million. Bailey has three goals and two assists so far.

Defensive options
As well as in attack, there are great options for managers within the Aston Villa defensive positions.
Goalkeeper Emi Martínez (£4.9m) is Villa’s top-scoring player, thanks to bagging nine save points and three clean sheets alongside his penalty save.
Ashley Young (£4.4m) is the best among defenders, sitting one point ahead of Tyrone Mings (£4.3m) as a result of creating nine chances for Villa team-mates.
Overall
There are several excellent investment opportunities that FPL managers can look into while the Unlimited Transfer Window is open. The World Cup break will allow head coach Unai Emery to work with the majority of his squad, giving another reason why the Villans look set to be a popular upcoming source for FPL managers.
