The Aston Villa Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its most recent medal challenge in support of the Villa Vision project.
To celebrate 125 years of Villa Park, the club’s official charity is asking fans to run, walk or cycle 12.5km.
The distance can be completed per day, per week or over the month depending on your ability. The challenge runs from Friday, August 19 until Friday, September 16.
The 125 years medal is a limited-edition piece, and only 125 medals are available.
Participants will need to sign up by emailing the address below. Please wait for confirmation before starting your 12.5km.
We will provide you with all the information you need in order to start your challenge. Please do not start the challenge until it has been confirmed by a member of the Foundation team.
We ask you to donate £30 directly to the Foundation or raise at least £50 to take part in this challenge.
Funds raised from the medal challenge will support the Foundation’s Villa Vision project.

The project has taught children and adults from across the city about the importance of eye health and vision since launching in December 2020.
Through fun, interactive lessons at schools, educational material and eye testing services, Villa Vision has been interacting with the local community via a fully operational custom-designed mobile eye care unit.
Poor vision can often go unnoticed, particularly amongst children, so Villa Vision provides the opportunity for children to have a free vision screening check at school.
In addition to this, for those children requiring further investigation, the initiative provides a full eye examination and glasses, if required, for free.
