Ahead of our Gameweek 34 Premier League game against Leicester City, take their advice on board...
Having not featured in Gameweek 33, Aston Villa assets are now firmly on the radar of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers for the run-in.
Investing in Villa players ahead of the Gameweek 34 deadline means they will participate in six matches over four Gameweeks.
Here’s a look at the defensive and attacking options for managers…
Defensive outlook

Since Gameweek 12, only five goalkeepers have kept more clean sheets than the six of Emiliano Martinez’s (£5.5m). In this period, he has also made 47 saves and 155 recoveries.
Villa defenders also look promising investments ahead of the run-in. Staying with Gameweek 12, Matty Cash (£5.2m) has a dozen returns to his name since then, only six defenders have more. Five of these have been attacking returns, the fifth-best within the game.

Furthermore, Cash’s 17 goal attempts rank best amongst Villa’s defence, as well as being in the top eight across all FPL defenders. Of these 17 shots, 14 have come inside the box.
Attacking outlook
Jacob Ramsey (£4.7m) has had four double-digit hauls in FPL since Gameweek 12, which just five midfielders can better during this period. This is more than Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) and Diogo Jota (£8.3m), plus key FPL assets like Bruno Fernandes (£11.6m).

Midfield partner John McGinn (£5.6m) has created 22 chances in this time - the most in the Villa squad. His 18 successful crosses are also team-leading and exceed those of Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m), James Maddison (£7.0m) and Bukayo Saka (£6.8m).
In addition, Philippe Coutinho (£7.1m) could also be a great pick for FPL managers. The midfielder has registered 31 goal attempts and eight attacking returns from his 12 appearances, with an expected goal (xG) total of 3.56. This is greater than the likes of De Bruyne and Dejan Kulusevski (£6.4m).
Up front, Ollie Watkins (£7.4m) has returned 71 points since Gameweek 12. Only six forwards in the game have more.
