Cameron Archer has been a revelation for Preston North End since signing on loan in January.
The striker took his early-season form for Aston Villa to Deepdale, where he’s quickly become a fan favourite after scoring seven times in 15 Championship appearances.
It’s the 20-year-old’s second loan spell, following a stint at Solihull Moors, and he’s fully embracing his time with the Lilywhites.

“I’m really enjoying it; I’ve loved every moment so far,” he said.
“I had a chat with the gaffer (Ryan Lowe) before I came here, and as a former striker, he tries to teach me, coach me and bring the best out of me.
“I can only thank him and be grateful to him for giving me the opportunity.”
Archer added: “Playing every week has helped me a lot; I feel like I’m learning. The Championship’s relentless with games coming thick and fast.
“I’m becoming a new player to who I was at Villa.”
After being named Preston manager in December, Ryan Lowe picked up the phone and called Steven Gerrard to ask him about Archer’s availability.

Lowe had received a glowing report from the striker’s time at Solihull, and he’s delighted to see him thriving at Preston.
He said: “I think it’s vitally important for the progress of young lads from the Premier League that they come to the right club.
“From day one, he’s been fantastic, a credit to work with and a credit to himself and his family – long may that continue.
“As a former striker, you always know when someone’s got that goal threat, and Cameron’s certainly got that.”
