What’s the difference between a Digital Membership and a paid Membership (Claret, Club, Villans etc)?
An Aston Villa Digital Membership is your free online account to log in to AVFC, Ticketing, VillaTV and more.
You need to set up a Digital Membership to buy tickets, buy membership and watch exclusive content on VillaTV.
A paid Membership is a product which entitles you to enhanced Membership benefits such as priority ticket access*, competitions, content and much more.
*Excluding Claret Lite, Claret Women’s and Little Villans.

Remember, your Membership must be activated (see below) to take advantage of benefits. Ticketing benefits can take up to 72 hours to activate after purchase and activating your Membership.
How do I set up my Digital Membership so I can purchase a Club Membership?

You need a free Digital Membership to set up and administer your paid membership. This will also allow you to access VillaTV, control communications preferences and link your ticketing account. Please note every fan will need a unique email address to create a Digital Membership.
You must then link your Digital Membership to your ticketing FAN ID, to enable you to purchase your paid membership and take advantage of all ticketing-related benefits. If you don’t already have a FAN ID, you can create one:
Do I need to activate my Membership after buying it?
Whether you buy a Membership yourself or have it gifted to you, you must activate your Membership to access our Membership benefits.
You will receive an email after purchasing your Membership asking you to click a link to activate the Membership. You can also activate the Membership by logging in to your account.
Please note, you will be required to use a unique email that isn’t already registered with the club by any friends or family members to activate your membership.
For Junior Memberships (Villans, Cubs, Little Villans), a parent/guardian’s email can be used but this must also be completely unique.
Will ticketing benefits (e.g priority booking window) be available immediately?
If your membership includes ticketing benefits, these will be available up to 72 hours after purchase and activating your account. Please check your purchase confirmation email for activation instructions. Additional criteria may apply for selected matches.
How do I get further support?

Please note, the club's revamped Membership is new for 2021/22 and we are always keen to hear supporters' feedback via pop-up questionnaires on the Membership website. This helps us provide the best service possible to fans.
