Emiliano Martínez kept another clean sheet as Argentina beat Uruguay 3-0 in World Cup qualifying on Sunday night.

Three days after shutting out Paraguay, the goalkeeper kept Uruguay at bay as goals from Lionel Messi, Rodrigo de Paul and Lautaro Martinez won the tie.

Martínez and his countrymen, who sit second in South American qualifying, will now prepare to play Peru on Thursday, October 11 (ko 12:30am).

Leaders Brazil dropped points for the first time in ten qualifiers, drawing 0-0 with Colombia.

Douglas Luiz was an unused substitute for Brazil, who now face Uruguay on Friday, October 12 (ko 1:30am).
