Emi Martínez was rewarded for an outstanding maiden campaign as he was voted Aston Villa 2020/21 Supporters' Player of the Season.
The Argentinian has been a revelation since joining from Arsenal last summer, tying Brad Friedel’s club record of 15 Premier League clean sheets in a single campaign.
And Martinez's performances were recognised by the Villa faithful, who voted him as their standout peformer in a poll which saw over 23,000 supporters take part on the club's official channels.

Matt Targett received deserved high praise and recognition from his peers as he was voted Players’ Player of the Season by his team-mates.
The left-back has performed superbly during the 2020/21 campaign and is the only outfield player to have started all 38 Premier League matches.
The end-of-season awards were presented by Chief Executive Christian Purslow and Head Coach Dean Smith during the pre-match warm-up ahead of Sunday’s game against Chelsea at Villa Park.

Goal of the Season, again voted for by the club's fans, went to Anwar El Ghazi for his stunning strike against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
The winger sent a spectacular drive thundering in off the far post to wrap up a 3-0 triumph, making it a worthy winner of the accolade.
Another player to pick up an award at the end of his first season at the club was Matty Cash, who won the Aston Villa Foundation’s Community Player of the Season.

The final award went to Carney Chukwuemeka, who was named as the club's Academy Player of the Season.
Chukwuemeka, 17, has enjoyed a stellar campaign for the Young Lions this term and made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in Wednesday's victory at Tottenham Hotspur.
Congratulations to each of the award winners and huge thank you to everyone who voted!
