Fit-again Jack Grealish returned to Aston Villa’s matchday 20 for the first time since mid-February for the visit of Everton to Villa Park (ko 6pm).
The influential midfielder was named among Villa’s substitutes for the Premier League clash having missed the club’s previous 12 fixtures due to injury, last featuring in the goalless draw at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Dean Smith made one change to his starting XI from last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester United, with Keinan Davis coming in for his first league start of the season.
The striker replaced the previously ever-present Ollie Watkins, who missed his first match of the campaign due to a one-match suspension following his red card against United.
Jed Steer took his place on the bench alongside talented teenagers Carney Chukwuemeka and Jaden Philogene-Bidace.
