Conor Hourihane played the full 90 minutes for Swansea City on Saturday, as Steve Cooper’s side recorded a second successive league victory in dramatic fashion.

André Ayew’s 97th minute penalty secured a 2-1 win and all three points over Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough at the Liberty Stadium, with the victory taking Swansea into third in the Championship standings.

In France, Frédéric Guilbert wasn’t in action at the weekend but he was a stand-out performer during the full programme of Ligue 1 fixtures in midweek.

With Strasbourg’s clash with high-flying Monaco goalless after 90 minutes, Guilbert stepped up in stoppage time to fire home a brilliant winner and pull his side further away from the relegation zone.

Ally Samatta started for Fenerbahce in the Turkish Süper Lig on Thursday night, but they dropped vital points at home to Antalyaspor.

The hosts fell behind early on, before former West Ham United striker Enner Valencia scored the equaliser with seven minutes remaining, shortly after Samatta was replaced by Mame Thiam.

Fenerbahce now lie third in the table, five points behind league leaders Besiktas.

Lovre Kalinic took the captain’s armband for Hajduk Split’s 2-0 win over Varazdin on Saturday.

The experienced goalkeeper kept his fourth league clean sheet of the campaign with David Collina opening the scoring at the other end, before victory was sealed by an own goal from Kerim Memija.

In League Two, Tyreik Wright played an hour of Walsall’s 1-0 defeat away at Cambridge United, while Indiana Vassilev came on for the final 10 minutes of Cheltenham Town’s 3-2 win over Port Vale.

After missing Ayr United’s previous fixture with injury, Viljami Sinisalo returned and kept a clean sheet to help his side beat Morton 2-0 on the road.

In the National League, Dominic Revan was key once again as Weymouth beat Stockport 1-0, with Jack Clarke coming on for the closing stages of Chesterfield’s 3-0 win over Yeovil Town.

Also in the fifth tier, Cameron Archer played the last 21 minutes as Solihull Moors drew 1-1 with Maidenhead United.

In Northern Ireland, Ben Guy was on the scoresheet for Portadown as they recorded an impressive 4-1 victory over Glenavon.

Callum Rowe was the only Villa loanee to not feature this week, with Hereford not in action.
