Emiliano Martinez made his second consecutive start for Argentina as they took on Colombia in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.

Five days after making his debut, the goalkeeper saw his side go 2-0 up before he sustained a head injury in a clash with Yerry Mina and had to be substituted after 40 minutes.

Both Martinez and Argentina later tweeted to say that he was in a good condition after the match.

In his absence, Argentina conceded two second-half goals as they were made to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Elsewhere in South American qualifying, Douglas Luiz came off the bench for the final 17 minutes as Brazil beat Paraguay 2-0.

Both Brazil and Argentina will now gear up for the Copa America, which begins on Sunday, June 13.
