Tyrone Mings, Jack Grealish and John McGinn shared the spoils as England and Scotland played out a goalless draw on Friday night.

The Aston Villa team-mates went head-to-head at Wembley in their eagerly-anticipated Euro 2020 Group D clash, which finished honours even and a point apiece.

Mings and McGinn both completed 90 minutes for their respective nations, with Grealish appearing as a 63rd-minute substitute for the Three Lions to make his debut at a major international tournament.

In their 115th meeting, England and Scotland shared a 0-0 draw for only the fourth time and the first occasion at Wembley.

It leaves England in second place in the table on four points ahead of their final group fixture against Czech Republic on Tuesday (ko 8pm).

Fourth-placed Scotland are now on one point heading into their match against Croatia on Tuesday (ko 8pm), with qualification for the knockout stages all to play for.

Villa goalkeeper Emi Martínez was also in Copa America 2021 action for Argentina in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Martínez earned his fourth international cap, and first victory, as he helped secure a narrow 1-0 win over Uruguay.

The stopper completed 90 minutes in Brasilia as Argentina triumphed thanks to Guido Rodriguez’s 13th-minute header.

It leaves Lionel Scaloni’s side joint-top of Group A with four points from their opening two fixtures of the tournament.

Martínez and Argentina face Paraguay next up on Tuesday morning (ko 1am).
