Aston Villa new boys Emi Buendía and Ashley Young are excited for the return of supporters to Villa Park in the upcoming season.
Fans were only allowed into the club’s final home match last term due to Covid restrictions, but they’ve been snapping up Season Tickets ahead of the new campaign.
And Villa’s summers signings can’t wait to play in front of big crowds in B6, with Young already well aware of how good the home support can be from his first spell at the club.
Buendía said: “I had the chance to play at Villa Park twice in away games and the atmosphere was amazing. It’s one of the best things in football to have fans in the stadium and I’m really happy to have them back.
“The atmosphere with them is incredible and at this club with this stadium, it will be amazing.”
Young said: “There hasn’t been fans in stadiums due to the pandemic, but this season fans will be back.
“When they’re loud and when they’re bouncing when the team’s doing well, there’s no better feeling. It’s incredible.”
2021/22 Season Tickets
Season tickets for the new campaign are currently open for renewal to existing 2019/20 season ticket holders until Wednesday, June 30.
Those fans wishing to relocate in the July window must renew before the deadline prior to relocation.
Villa fans have snapped up 2021/22 season tickets in record-breaking numbers following their release earlier this month, more than doubling the club’s previous daily sales record.
Seven days remain for existing season ticket holders to renew and secure your seat at Villa Park for the upcoming season.
The club are also seeing a surge in fans wishing to join the waiting list for season tickets.
Season tickets for 2021/22 will be capped as they were for the 2019/20 season.
Any remaining tickets will then be made available to those fans on the waiting list, with further details to be announced in due course ahead of this window opening.
