Douglas Luiz was shown a red card as Brazil drew 0-0 with Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday.
The midfielder was sent-off with just 13 minutes on the clock after being adjudged to have tripped Youssouf Dao as the forward raced through on goal.
Luiz was initially shown a yellow card before VAR intervened and upgraded it to a straight red.

Ivory Coast were also reduced to ten men when Eboue Kouassi received a second yellow card late on.
The draw keeps Brazil, who beat Germany in their opener, top of Group D.
The reigning Olympic champions face Saudi Arabia in their final group match on Wednesday.
