Aston Villa Women will open their 2021/22 Women's Super League season against newly-promoted Leicester City.
Carla Ward's side will face the Foxes on the weekend of September 3rd.
Leicester, who won last season's FA Women's Championship title, will make a short trip on opening day as they embark on a first-ever season in the WSL.
The curtain raiser will also mark the first time we will welcome fans back to a competitive Women's fixture since February 2020.
The Villans then visit West Ham United at Chigwell Construction Stadium (10th to 12th September) in their first away fixture of the new season.
Last season's visit against the Hammers saw us pick up a valuable point on our way to WSL survival, with another stalemate at Villa Park played out just days later.
Following the September international break, Villa will visit Brighton & Hove Albion at the People's Pension Stadium in Crawley (24th to 26th September).
Villa recorded their first win back in the top flight in last season's corresponding fixture, courtesy of second-half goals from Anita Asante and Ramona Petzelberger.
A home encounter against Mana Iwabuchi and Arsenal awaits on the weekend of October 1st, while a trip to face Reading at the Madejski Stadium (8th to 10th October) will see us complete our opening five fixtures.
The first derby meeting against cross-city rivals Birmingham City comes away from home on the weekend of November 12th, with the return fixture on the final day of the campaign (May 7th/8th).
Specific fixture dates and times will be confirmed in due course, with the first round of broadcast selections to follow.
