Marvelous Nakamba earned his second Premier League start of the season for Aston Villa’s encounter against Newcastle United (ko 8pm).
The midfielder replaced John McGinn, who served a one-match suspension for the clash at Villa Park having collected his fifth booking of the season in the midweek defeat at Manchester City.
Nakamba’s recall was the only change to Dean Smith’s starting XI to face the Magpies, with the Villa head coach himself watching from the directors’ box following his dismissal at the Etihad Stadium
Fit-again Trezeguet returned to the bench for his first involvement since the end of November.
