Academy teenager Ben Chrisene has penned a professional contract with the Club.

Ben showed his potential as he started last Friday’s FA Cup Third-Round tie against Liverpool, registering his Aston Villa first-team debut.

The 17-year-old joined the Club last summer and has been capped by England at Under-15, U16 and U17 level.

Academy Manager Mark Harrison said: "Since Ben joined us from Exeter at the beginning of the season, he has played regularly for the Under-18s and just before Christmas he played for the Under-23s on a couple of occasions, still aged only 16.

"He has played the majority of games at left-back and we have been very pleased with his development."

Ben’s pro contract comes on the same day as fellow Young Lion Lamare Bogarde signed a pro deal with Villa, click here.

Congratulations, Ben and Lamare!
