Dean Smith was delighted to see Aston Villa register a 1-0 victory at Leeds United and secure a 13th Premier League clean sheet of the season.
Anwar El Ghazi fired home the only goal of the game in the fifth minute, his seventh of the campaign, to seal Villa’s 12th league triumph of 2020/21.
And Smith was happy to see his side come away from Elland Road with all three points.

“It’s really pleasing because it’s a really tough place to come,” he told VillaTV.
“They’re a very good attacking team so to keep a clean sheet as well, very satisfying.
“I thought we started the game really well, got the goal obviously, we wanted to press them high, play in their half and we did that.
“I thought it got stretched a little bit in the last 20 minutes of the first half.
”Second half we went into a lower block and I thought we defended really well and restricted them to few chances.
“They had the header at the end, that’s bounced wide, but I can’t remember Emi making too many saves.”
