Steven Gerrard is in the running for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for November.
After being appointed head coach midway through the month, Gerrard ended the team’s five-game losing streak and won his first two games in charge.
Two late goals saw off Brighton at Villa Park before Villa claimed a 2-1 success against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Gerrard is up against Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp for the award.
The winner will be announced on Friday, December 10 at 12pm.
