Douglas Luiz and Emi Buendía returned to Aston Villa’s starting line-up for their Premier League clash against Manchester City (ko 8.15pm).
Midfielder Luiz and forward Buendía were both recalled as head coach Steven Gerrard made two changes from Saturday’s impressive 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace.
Jacob Ramsey and Ashley Young, who started the win at Selhurst Park, were both included among the substitutes for the encounter at Villa Park.
There was also a place on the bench for striker Keinan Davis as Villa took on the reigning Premier League champions.
