Aston Villa Women’s preparations for the 2021/22 campaign will continue next weekend, with a pre-season fixture versus Manchester United confirmed.
The friendly will be played at United’s Carrington training ground, with the game set for Saturday, August 14 (ko 4.30pm). The game will, unfortunately, be behind-closed-doors to supporters due to COVID protocols.
Carla Ward’s side are set to face a Red Devils outfit who finished fourth in last season’s Women’s Super League, and have recently appointed former Birmingham City manager Marc Skinner as their new boss. Live updates will be available on our Twitter page, @avwfcofficial.
