Mark Delaney's team were on the wrong side of a seven-goal thriller in their last league encounter, losing out 4-3 to Stoke City at Bodymoor Heath.
The defeat left them facing a challenge to catch the teams above in the table, with Wolves currently occupying the final play-off spot, three points ahead of Villa in fifth.
