The official souvenir matchday programme for the visit of Stoke City for our Carabao Cup Round Four tie is going back in time.
The special collectors’ edition - for which only 1,961 copies are to be printed - is a tribute to the 1960/61 season, when Villa were the inaugural winners of the League Cup and will even be printed on ‘heritage’ paper stocks to give it an ‘old school’ programme feel.
The cover design is a facsimile of the design used for Villa home games 60 years ago - but the content will still be bang up-to-date.
Even though Thursday’s game at Villa Park will be played behind closed doors, you can still get a copy of this great momento.

However, due to the short turnaround between competition rounds, this edition will be posted out from the printers the day before the game and, therefore, is unlikely to arrive before the match.
The price for this special 32-page edition is £2.50 plus P+P of £0.99 for postage to a UK address. Overseas deliveries will incur an increased P&P charge which will be calculated based on the delivery address.
